We are Joe and Jen, a husband-wife team of family photographers in Minneapolis, Minnesota. We fully understand the importance of documenting your family during whichever chapter you’re at together, and we’re so thrilled and honored that our work has clicked with you enough to learn more.
Through our photojournalistic / documentary style of family photography we create a time capsule of your life as it is now - all of the true personalities, messy moments, and little connections you cherish the most. We also promise to make an easy, fun, and meaningful experience along the way!

Generation Session • $1,050
A session with Joe for the whole extended crew!
Grandparents, uncles + aunts, cousins, etc are welcome. All group breakdowns plus candids will be documented.

The Details
Travel
A standard $200 travel fee will be applied for family sessions more than 1.5 hours from Minneapolis. Destination family sessions are also an option, and we will provide a custom quote based on your location.
“Day in the Life”
Our specialize in documentary style family photos, sometimes called “Day in the Life” sessions. This approach tells your family's story in a natural environment such as your home or a place where you love to spend time together.
We're passionate about documenting real personalities, quirks, and true stories, and we find Day in the Life sessions allow us to do this the very best. These sessions make for the most special and honest photos, creating a beautiful record of your lives as they are right now.
We will still always get the more camera-aware shots of everyone smiling at the camera. We believe that those are also timeless and super important!
Print Your Memories
Printing your family photos allows you to enjoy them every day in real life, off of your screen and into your hands. It also allows them to stand the tests of time and rapidly-changing technology. We offer a full suite of Fine Art Items to turn your favorite memories into heirlooms, available right through our shop connected to your online gallery.
Next Steps
Let’s get your session on the books! After we connect and find a date for your session, a digital contract and payment reserve your date. For the "Baby's First Year" package, payments may be made in two installments - one half due upon booking, one half due at the second session.
Each shoot includes a phone meet-and-greet with Joe to get to know your family better, answer any questions, give recommendations, and brainstorm the perfect concept and location for your crew. In the meantime check out our Family Photo Prep page for lots of tips and FAQs!
